The great aim of this project was the search of materiality that could represent the cultural and symbolic aspects of Quilombola culture, but that also could accomplish the technical and functional requirements of a basic health unit. So we decided to use Taipa (adobe technique) as material for the walls at the front and lateral part of the site, where we locate the administration, toilets, and garden. The program is organized around a great patio, where we have the waiting room and access to clinic rooms.
